Training Programmes
MIND ready set go is delighted to offer its first training programme.
Are you committed to improving the mental health and wellbeing of your learners? Are you finding it tough to make the difference you want to make? Do you believe in making systemic changes for the better? Maybe you're keen to learn more and develop your professional skills. Then this course is for you.
A unique, two-part, training programme for anyone who works in the education sector. Suitable for teaching and support staff and leadership teams, this training opportunity provides delegates with an insight into many issues relating to mental health and wellbeing in children and young people.
The first part of the course (Introduction to children and young people mental health and wellbeing support) is designed to increase awareness and understanding of topics such as the importance of wellbeing, the warning signs of ill mental health and the potential consequences. We also look at what you, as educational professionals can actively do to make changes for the better, from creating a "teacher toolkit" and creating a whole system of support.

The second part of the course (Implementation of children and young people mental health and wellbeing support) is a follow up session to examine case studies and reflect upon challenges and changes to your practice and the whole school setting.
